[Update:] I’ve now heard they are going to stop paying completely! Full details.
I’ve posted before about Homepages Friends (formerly My Search Funds) – a service which pays you for the internet searches you make.
Up to now they’ve been pretty good at paying when they say they will, and I’ve been paid just over £50 in the past, but I had some more due to be paid by the end of December which they just didn’t pay. Instead the money owing rolled over into an amount due by the end of January. This is still showing as payable by the end of Jan (which has passed), and I’ve not heard anything.
Looking at some other people’s comments on my previous posts, I’m not the only one experiencing this.
I will not be doing any more searches with them until I (and other users) receive payment. It will be a shame if they totally stop paying, because it was shaping up to be a great service.
Let me know if you are waiting, and of course if you recieve your payment!

I’ve had a response from Homepages Friends:
I’m not sure if she wants me to tell my friends I haven’t been paid, or tell them about the service!! I still won’t be using the MYHPF search until I get paid (as well as the other commenters).
The “Next Payment” has been put back for a second time, and is now due “15-28 February 2009”. I wonder if the company’s been credit crunched?
Same problem here. I tried contacting them, but the mail is returned with the following error:

It’s a shame. This is supposed to be my first payment and I’ve been expecting it since November.
@cyrus: That doesn’t sound good! All evidence is pointing to the end of Homepages Friends. It would be nice if they proved us wrong, but it’s looking unlikely. Shame.
I have been a member of Homepages-friends.com since last summer of 2008 and was supposed to receive my first payment on December 31, 2008 but did not. I emailed them about the matter and they say that they will look into it. Later on I noticed in my account that they had updated the pay date and so I waited for that date. The date arrived and still no payment. I emailed them again and received a similar response like you Rob. The date had been adjusted again and has now passed and still no payment. You are lucky that you got paid once because I never received a dime. I can’t believe they have a contract with Yahoo.
